Envelopes Explained
Envelopes carry your company's image a well as your documents - it is important you choose the correct envelope.

* DL size envelopes (DL 110 x 220mm) hold an A4 sheet folded twice or an A5 sheet folded once.
* C4 size envelopes (C4 324 x 229mm) hold an A4 sheet unfolded.
* C5 size envelopes (C5 162 x 229mm) hold an A4 sheet folded once or an A5 sheet unfolded.

What size envelope do I need for a given card, letter or photo or invitation?
First please measure the card. You will need an envelope with our measurements of at least 5mm more in both width and length.

How do you choose the size you need?
Basically, we provide measurements of our envelopes on our web site - thus you will be able to fit a standard A5 piece of card (162 x 229mm) or A4 ((324x229mm), folded once across the shorter middle into our C5 envelope (listed as being of size, wait for it, 162 x 229mm).

Envelopes are coded by letters in conjunction with one or two numbers. Thus C4 means an envelope that takes an unfolded A4 sheet of paper.

Standard Sizes – the traditional envelopes – still serve their purpose admirably
